The City of Rapes

The recurrent nightmare
Reminded me for I am a sole female heir.
I once witnessed a safe place
Now, I only dream of it.

I walk into the City of Rapes,
Horrified enough within me.
My heart pounds with pain
When I see an innocent girl
Being no longer a virgin.

Can you challenge a man to spot a virgin?
After the disgusting imprints
He has laid upon her body and mind.

He calls it as an act of masculinity
Today it’s a rare phenomenon in men.
Masculinity does not lie in molesting her
His bravery lies in preventing her from being traumatized.

He demands a chaste wife
I am sorry but, he will find none
Because he was the predator who chased,
Hunted her as his sexual prey earlier…

Sex can never be enjoyable
When it is forced
It can only be when it is mutual.
The City of Rapes haunts not me solely,
But, threatens all female species sadly.
